Try a Longboat Florida Beach Vacation Rental in the Near Future

Vacation rentals can include condominiums, townhouses, homes, and resorts, all of which are available in abundance in near Florida's most beloved beaches. Snorkeling, boating, and scuba diving are just a few of the various activities that can be experienced off the coast of Florida's sandy shores, and there are even more things to do on land. Whatever your idea of a sunny, dream vacation may be, it's likely that the Orange State will easily satisfy all of your holiday wishes.

Longboat Key is located off of Florida's west central coast on a barrier island after which it was named. The city is within a reasonable distance of three different beaches, including Bradenton, Holmes, and Anna Maria. The Gulf of Mexico is also nearby, along with many other vacation retreats in the area. Rental homes, condominiums, and townhouses are perfect for vacation spots in Longboat Key and are very reasonably priced relative to their value and the average rate for hotels in the surrounding area.

There are several other communities in the vicinity of Longboat Key that also offer vacation rentals for great prices. Siesta Key, another barrier island, is one of these communities. With a little over 7,000 year-round residents, Siesta Key is an especially popular vacation spot for couples who are looking to simply kick back and relax. Homes for rent are available all year long, typically ranging between one and five bedrooms. Rental condos are also a popular choice and can be found with up to five or more bedrooms as well.

Venice and Sarasota are just two of the several other communities near Longboat Key that offer great vacation rental options. Many of the homes and rental condos in these areas come equipped with private pools or spas and are often pet friendly, just in case you want to bring an extra member of your family along for fun in the sun. A majority of the rental properties in these areas are also within walking distance of the beautiful beaches that hug the barrier islands, so you may be quite comfortable not renting a car or even bringing your own.

As with many other popular vacation destinations, there are a number of resorts that you can choose to rent during your trip to Florida. Because resort lodging is often comprised of more than one renting party, they can sometimes charge an even better price that private rental homes and condos. You'd be surprised how reasonable prices really can be for all of these types of rental properties. Rental periods will vary depending on the property, so you will likely be able to remain in your Florida vacation rental property for as short or long a time as you'd like.

Southwest Florida Vacation Homes - Affordable Quality Vacation Spots

Are you looking for the best vacation spot for you? Fort Myers Beach is a family destination with so much to do. You can walk the beaches for miles. Fort Myers Beach is known as one of the safest beaches with shallow waters. You can drive across the bridge to Sanibel to shell on the beaches. Sanibel is known for its shelling activities.

Fort Myers Beach is a tourist destination year round. The snow birds flock there during the winter. But, summer time is a great time to bring the kids. They can play on the beach, in the pools, go downtown to shop, rent jet skis, pontoon boats, go parasailing, go fishing. For the parents, there is also the beaches and the pools, sight seeing, a casino boat, golfing and many many more activities. You are about an hour drive from the Everglades to see the alligators and ride the airboats.

My favorite time of year to go to Fort Myers Beach is after August 15 and before Thanksgiving. The kids have gone back to school and it is quiet without many tourists. But, the quiet time allows lots of relaxation. The activities are still there to do, but there are less crowds.

The waters of the Gulf of Mexico are warm. Dolphins swim in Estero Bay and are often seen and Big Carlos Pass. Every nesting season, the Loggerhead turtle make their annual journey to lay fragile eggs on the beaches. Birds of all descriptions also call this wonderful sanctuary home. You can look out over the soft white sands and watch as boaters and fisherman come through Big Carlos Pass on their sea vessels. At dusk, you can watch the sunset on the beach.

Fort Myers Beach is a wonderful vacation destination for everyone. Affordable accommodations are available.

Restaurants are everywhere. Don't forget to try to locally caught grouper. Crunchy grouper is a local specialty. You can watch the shrimp boats come in and unload their catch.

10 Benefits of a Vacation Rental Apartment Over a Hotel

Holiday apartment rentals can provide international standards of comfort at the lowest cost. Staying in a holiday apartment rental also provides additional benefits like privacy, self-catering facilities and lower rental fees compared to a hotel room.

1. Vacation rental apartments provide a lot more privacy than hotels. Travellers can come and go as they please with no disturbances from housekeeping or room services.

2. By staying in a vacation rental apartment, visitors can enjoy an authentic experience of living exactly like the locals. If luxury is a factor, you can even find a luxury vacation rental apartment with a private pool or hot tub, so that you can use it exclusively.

3. If you travel in a large group of friends or with extended family, a vacation rental apartment is a practical option. This way everyone can share the costs. It is also easier to obtain transport for a group to all your destinations.

4. Apart from anything else, vacation rental apartments charge a flat fee for the entire apartment regardless of the number of occupants. Hence, you save a great deal compared to what you would spend in a hotel for a suite or a couple of rooms.

5. A vacation rental apartment for a family means parents do not have to worry about their children being in another room down the corridor. A vacation rental apartment will function like a second home, making it easier for you to monitor your children.

6. In a vacation rental apartment a family also has more space and more rooms. Hence, the parents do not have to share rooms with their children. Everyone can enjoy their own space.

7. Most vacation rental apartments provide full kitchens, thus enabling you to cook all your meals and saving a considerable amount on eating out for the whole family. In a hotel you are likely to find it exorbitant to order from room service if you do not want to go out and eat. The hotel restaurants are just as likely to be as expensive as room service if not more.

8. The best aspect about vacation rental apartments is that you will feel like you are in a home away from home, and yet know that you are in a new place without the responsibilities involved with the daily running of a home.

9. Holiday apartment rentals offer various accommodation options which range from cottages to castles, to budget apartments and luxury villas, giving you options of size, space and location.

10. These are ideal options for long vacations. In general, holiday apartment rentals offer weekly or extended stay options with 24 hour security services.

Florida Vacation Rental Solutions For Large Groups

As families are spread out all across the country, it's becoming more common for large groups to meet at a popular vacation destination like Orlando. Instead of trying to book multiple hotel rooms, large groups can simply book a villa rental in Orlando so everyone can stay in one place. Doing this means it's easy to get everyone together before heading out to the area attractions. Additionally, many of these vacation rental homes in Orlando offer a private pool and have a full kitchen, which means you don't have to face the long restaurant waits while the staff prepares a meal for a large table.

Staying In A Villa Rental In Orlando Means Easy Organizing

If you're trying to organize a vacation for a large group of family or friends, staying in one of the many Disney vacation rentals means it'll be easier to get everyone going. Instead of spending hours on your cell phones trying to figure out the best time to meet, you'll have everyone in one place, making organizing easy. Having everyone together also means families can split up if they want to because everyone ends up at the same villa rental in Orlando.

Staying In Vacation Rental Homes In Orlando Is Less Expensive

Staying in a hotel with a large group means you'll need many different hotel rooms. The cost can quickly add up, especially if you're taking a longer vacation. It's possible to find a villa rental in Orlando that can sleep up to 14 people, which can really help spread out the cost. Even small families can benefit from renting a villa rental in Orlando. Oftentimes, families with young children need to stick to strict bedtime routines. If the family has rented a small hotel room, the parents are forced inside early or need to find a babysitter to watch over their children. Staying in Disney vacation rentals means parents will be able to put the children to bed and enjoy themselves in another room of the home.

Many of these Disney vacation rentals come with private pools so you can have the option of spending a couple days relaxing by your own pool. The cost of the pool is included in your villa rental in Orlando, making a day at the pool an inexpensive, but still fun day.

Disney Vacation Rentals Mean Meals Are Easy

Planning and coordinating a meal out with a large group can be a complete nightmare, especially if you're traveling with young children. By staying in one of the Disney vacation rentals, you'll be able to plan meals at home - saving you from the headache of waiting for a large table. Additionally, you'll be able to save money by not eating out every meal.

The available kitchens in the Disney vacation rentals are also ideal for families dealing with food allergies. Because families can cook with known ingredients, there's less of a chance that food can become contaminated with an allergen.

Disney vacation rentals are the ideal situation for large groups visiting Orlando. Groups will be able to easily organize day trips, while saving money on lodging and food. Once you stay in a villa rental in Orlando, you may never want to stay in a traditional hotel ever again!

10 Reasons Why Ajijic Vacation Rentals Are a Great Alternative to Ajijic Hotels in Mexico

Lake Chapala, Mexico, increasingly is becoming a popular destination for Canadian and American retirees. A great way to 'test the waters' for retirement is to stay in one of Ajijic vacation rentals.

1. Try it, see if you like it! Staying in vacation home rentals are a great alternative to Ajijic Hotels. When you rent a vacation home you'll get much more space, a relaxed environment and for sure more privacy. You can do things on your time frame, not the hotel's schedule.

2. Get the inside scoop from the local folks. Vacation rental home owners want their guests to enjoy their Mexico vacation and then come back again and again. Many owners want to give a more personal touch by providing advice on places to go, and not go. Ajijic Restaurants to try, even specific Mexican dishes to order and the best way to get around the village. You'll learn about the best Lake Chapala shopping and Guadalajara sight seeing. Hotel personal pitch the places they get a kickback (uh, commission) from when hotel guests sign up for the tour services. And you get brochures about things to do and places to go rather than the personal recommendation of a property owner.

3. When traveling with friends or relatives you can save a lot of money by renting a vacation rental. If you rented hotel rooms for everyone in your party, the costs add up quickly. Plus, the added advantage of hanging out together in the living room, kitchen or family room and private outdoor area.

4. The ability to cook some of your own meals in a fully equipped kitchen can help a lot with the budget by saving on Lake Chapala restaurant bills, although admittedly the restaurants are quite affordable. Eating only some of your meals out also helps when traveling with folks who have picky appetites or may be on special diets. You can prepare your food the way you like it and enjoy dining in the garden or terrace of your home.

5. Often vacation homes are located in residential areas, which can provide a more tranquil setting. Hotels are typically in the more noisy parts of town. When you are residing in a residential area you will meet your neighbors and get the sense of Ajijic community if this is an area you are considering for retirement in Mexico.

6. Staying at an Ajijic hotel it is almost impossible to sleep late in the morning. The maids are noisy as they clean the rooms and you always hear the other guest talking or laughing as they walk down the hall. At a vacation rental home in Ajijic you can sleep as late as you want, have a leisurely breakfast on the terrace and enjoy living on Mexican time.

7. Travel in today's world requires packing very light or paying for the extra luggage. Some Mexican rental vacation homes even have laundry facilities. Pack light and wash a few loads of clothes while relaxing with a margarita and reading a good book.

8. Safety is another factor when considering an Ajijic rental. Hotels have lots of staff and most have access to your room. That can make you more vulnerable to theft. In a vacation rental home the maid and the gardener might have a key to the property. But typically, they have been working for the owners for some time and the owners have total trust in them.

9. The amenities of a rental home far exceed the cramped space and the basics that typical hotel rooms offer. You won't have to share a small hotel bathroom, many rental homes have at least 2 baths with lots of room. Plus you have the outdoors right there. Gardens, terraces and maybe an outdoor grill, to cook some fresh fish or a big steak.

10. Lets face it when you stay at a hotel in Ajijic there are a lot of rooms with a lot of guests for one manager to deal with. Plus that manager also needs to manage a large staff to maintain the hotel property. When staying at a vacation rental home by owner you are the only guests for that owner so you can be assured you will have his or her undivided attention. Don't hesitate to try out a vacation rental home. Vacation home stays in Mexico are becoming more popular way to travel.
